Spa de Soleil offers custom formulating tailored exactly to the
needs of our customers. Because of our ongoing research and development,
we offer you the opportunity to formulate new products, improve
and reformulate existing products, or competitive products --
at prices that you can easily afford. Perhaps you would just like
to change the color or fragrance of an existing product (with
the same percentage as the original formula). We would be delighted
to do it for you at no charge whatsoever. Our minimum quantities
make it simple for you to order. Creams, Masks and Special Products
can be ordered in quantities as small as 30 gallons per product.
Cleansers, Toners and Lotions require a minimum order of only
50 gallons per product.
NEW CUSTOMER INITIAL INTRODUCTION & SAMPLE SUBMISSION PROCESS
After you call and give us general information like your address,
phone and fax numbers and contact person, an introductory package
will be sent explaining start-up procedures. Let us know what
product samples you would like from our In-House Lines or send
us prototypes of your existing products or competitive products
if you are looking to develop, reformulate or duplicate. Specify
color, fragrance, application features, etc.

• Payment of formula fee does not guarantee ownership
of the formula.
• Fees must be paid prior to the initiation of any formulation
process.
• The fee for New Product Development may change depending
on the complexity of the research involved.
Lab samples of the products you requested will be sent in 3
to 5 weeks with a "LABORATORY EVALUATION SHEET" for
each product included in the box. Special or Complex development
would require longer lead time depending on the availability
of the ingredients.
We ask that you evaluate the lab samples and then return the
enclosed "LABORATORY APPROVAL SHEET" and either APPROVE
or DISAPPROVE the sample(s) sent. This Approval Sheet is very
important. It is a written record of your evaluation and MUST
be returned before a re-submission can go out or product can
be ordered.
A. If the sample is APPROVED, then the approved lab sample/formula
is priced out, and a formal Price Quotation is mailed to you.
B. If the sample is NOT APPROVED, then the sample is revised
per your comments on the Approval Sheet and resubmitted for
approval.
C. Once the sample is APPROVED, please request Ingredient Listing(s)
and Price Quotation.
NOTE: PLEASE SEND YOUR "LABORATORY APPROVAL SHEETS"
BY MAIL OR FAX.
Once the lab sample is approved and the Price Quotation has
been submitted, FAX or mail us a Purchase Order and a 50% Deposit
for the products. (Send your P.O. to: Attention of Production
Coordinator). We will then FAX you back a "Sales Order
Confirmation" so that you can check and verify all the
information on the Purchase Order as well as the Shipping arrangements
and other information.
If you supply the packaging, send the 50% Deposit and ALL the
components for your project: bottles, caps, labels, disc liners,
boxes etc. to begin the order. (Send Your P.O. to the Attention
of Production Coordinator).

After Spa de Soleil, Inc. has received your deposit, all the
raw materials (ingredients) for your production batch(es) will
be ordered.(Allow 2-3 weeks for the ordering and arrival of
the raw materials). When Spa de Soleil, Inc. has received ALL
the packaging components and shipping boxes to complete your
order, manufacturing will be scheduled.

SHIPMENT WILL BE REFUSED
Spa de Soleil, Inc. will then manufacture the production batch
according to the final approved formula based on the approved
laboratory sample. (Allow 5-6 weeks for the manufacturing of your
product).
IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS REGARDING THE STATUS OF YOUR ORDER,
PLEASE SPEAK TO YOUR ASSIGNED PRODUCTION COORDINATOR.
Once the product has been manufactured, a representative sample
of the production batch will be sent to you. Enclosed inside the
box with the production sample will be a "PRODUCTION APPROVAL
SHEET". We require that you return this approval sheet and
either APPROVE or DISAPPROVE the production sample prior to filling
and packaging.
A. If the production sample is APPROVED, then the approved
product will be scheduled for filling.
B. If the production sample is DISAPPROVED then the product
will be reworked and resubmitted.
C. In lieu of submitting a production sample for approval, you
may sign an "IN-HOUSE APPROVAL", which releases the
batch for filling after it is approved by our highly qualified
inhouse Quality Control staff.
IMPORTANT: DISAPPROVAL of the production sample and subsequent
corrections and resubmission may increase the time the project
is scheduled for filling by 2-4 weeks. If APPROVED on the first
submission, the approved product is filled, capped, coded (if
requested by customer) and cartoned. The completed order is shipped
per customer's transportation instructions, C.O.D. or per quoted
terms.
